Why do you think Learning Conference is needed?
I am truly looking forward to this conference as a platform for annual gatherings, learning, and experience sharing with the top experts in lifelong learning, strategy, and innovation. At the same time, I see it as a journey—one that starts even before the event itself, with the opportunity to participate as a jury member in the Learning Awards. This, in my view, is one of the most valuable professional development experiences for both individuals and organizations.
What are the biggest challenges in the industry today, and what are the most important trends?
We must not only focus building digital and technical skills. Employees also need to adopt new tools and addressing the emotional aspects of change, such as fostering lifelong learning, resilience, empathy, and adaptability. Leveraging AI to sustain learning and improving functional skills transparency will also be pivotal.
What experience do you have in the industry?
I have worked as a leader in learning, change, talent, and organizational development for nearly 30 years, focusing on strategic capabilities at companies such as Alfa Laval, Tetra Pak, IKEA, and Scania. I also have a background as an officer in the Swedish Armed Forces.
I hold a Master’s degree in Business and Management from Lund University, specializing in strategic leadership and organizational development.
I have the honor of serving as the Chair of the Swedish Learning Association, one of the co-organizers of this conference. The association has also been driving the Swedish Learning Awards for many years. Additionally, I have a broad global network within L&D and have been a speaker at several international conferences.”
